THE CORPORATE STORYTELLING NETWORK October 2007

Dear Valued Client:

Once upon a time….... Strategic Connections Inc. established a corporate storytelling network and invited suggestions from members on how to build this shared resource.

Today we welcome you, our members, to our first newsletter. Thank you for your ideas and suggestions. It is with these in mind that we have developed a basic framework for our Corporate Storytelling Network. We have tried to ensure it is flexible enough to grow with us over time. Here are some of the key elements we will build into the network over the coming months.

  • A story of the month
  • Case studies of corporate storytelling in practice
  • Reviews of story related books
  • Conversations with individuals using and advocating corporate storytelling
  • Tools and resources to help individuals and organizations develop corporate storytelling capacity
  • Discussion boards

Absolutely key to the success of this network is your involvement. The name we have chosen for this newsletter, The Story Chair, represents the storyteller in each of us. We invite you to take your turn in The Story Chair and share your workplace stories. Click on this link to submit your articles and suggestions, or join our discussion board and share your ideas and find solutions for your issues.

We’re delighted to have you on this journey with us.

Regards,

Your story chairs, Nicky Fried and Cindy Willick
